Make-A-Wish Ireland approached us in early 2024 as they were looking to completely redesign and redevelop their existing flagship website.

Created over 5 years ago, their website had become tired and dated, with poor user experience for visitors and a difficult content editing system that was challenging to keep up-to-date. Our solution was to build an entirely new WordPress website from the ground up that would address all of the key challenges that Make-A-Wish Ireland were facing. 

We created a completely revamped custom website design based on their brand identity, ensuring a cohesive look across all of their offline and online brand touchpoints. This design aligned with other websites within the international Make-A-Wish family and made strong use of photos and videos that have captured the unforgettable wishes that have been granted over the years. The overall design makes a visual statement that encapsulates the spirit and ambition of Make-A-Wish, while being informative, engaging, fun and easy to use.

We integrated a modern visual-first CMS that enables the Make-A-Wish Ireland internal marketing team to easily create, manage and update website content without the need for extensive technical or coding knowledge. Adhering to fundamental UX and accessibility practices, along with robust speed and security protocols, we have ensured that the website will be future-proof for years to come.

We also worked closely alongside their fundraising partner Fundraise Up to integrate their donation platform onto the site in order to increase conversions and ensure a seamless donor experience for visitors.

The new Make-A-Wish Ireland website is now a more effective tool that will enable them to promote their mission, attract sponsors, recruit volunteers, and increase donations so that they can continue to do the fantastic work they do and grant more wishes for children all across Ireland.
